Craigavon Inn.  Garvaghy Road. The older part of this building was the home of Sam McGredy's grandmother. Sam McGredy is one of the Worlds most famous Rose Breeders.

This is not in Portadown but at Derriaghy, near Belfast, the pic shows part of Sam McGredy's display and retail outlet.

The wall on the right is the boundary of The Ulster Carpet Mills.  The factory at the end of the street was Wilson's Canning Factory.

Woodside Green in the 50's. This was the first new housing estate built by the local council after the second World War. First occupants moved in during 1948.

The gentleman in the centre, with head dipped was Mr. Abraham Grimason, superintendent of Park Road Sunday School.
