8.00 p,m. Friday 5th. June at Public Park, display of National Dancing by Ladies of the Central Council of Physical Recreation. In background goods train can be seen on railway line which runs parallel with Park Road. Factory chimney was in Mill Avenue off Castle Street.

At Tandragee. The top hat pipe smoking gentleman is Jack Maginnis, during the sixties he was MP for Central Armagh. Who are the others? Barely visible, the face of an elderly lady looking out of the window pane, it can be seen in photo just below the horses chest, how about identifying exact location on the hill in Tandragee, I'm sure someone will be able to name the lady. Another thought, what were the party pushing and what was the horse pulling? |
